Left to Right Lion Bob Grieve and Raffle winner Beth Finley

The Lions Club recently erected a handicap ramp for the Children of Scott & Kristina Smart. The two boys; Tyler and Zachary Hayost both have Muscular Dystrophy and Tyler is confined to a wheel chair. The club held a benefit bottle drive to raise funds for the project netting around $400. Lion Sue Nemeth challenged the elementary classes to support the cause and their penny collection resulted in over $500 as well as bottle/cans for our drive. Lions Sharon & Jim Brandibur did the organizing and leg work, Robin King provided the blue print and various community members chipped in with material & help; Arlo Ruggles, Brent & Peggy Clark, Betty Theis and Huntoon Lumber. Lion Harry Majewski coordinated the construction (left in photo) assisted by Lions Jim Brandibur, Russ Grieve, Sharon Brandibur and Bob Grieve. The Hayost boys will have an easier time getting in and out of their home.
